Evripidis Gavathiotis, Ph.D.
Associate Professor, Departments of Biochemistry and Medicine
Albert Einstein College of Medicine

Dr. Gavathiotis’s research focuses on cell death and cell survival processes, which play an important role in human physiology, contributing to cancer and several age-related diseases. His efforts have focused on critical protein-protein interactions and understanding their mechanisms. This work has led to the development of novel approaches and therapeutics to target them.
