Thank you for joining us! Our cohort represents a truly impressive depth of experience and knowledge from all corners of the biotech community.

In this session we gathered for an update on programs completed and in the works. Most of the time was spent listening to your updates, goals, and challenges.

About Us:

The Westchester Biotech Project brings together researchers, engineers, and data scientists from across therapeutics, diagnostics, and devices. Based in Westchester County, NY, this is a borderless initiative with opportunities for local, national, and international collaboration.

Focusing upon intellectual engagement and sustainable action, we work to drive sensible, pleasurable, and stimulating engagement.

Scientific Advisory Board: Welcome and Notes

If you’ve been with us for a while, how are we doing?
You can always contact us:

If you’re just getting started as a member of our Scientific Advisory Board,
Thank you and Welcome!

What am I in for?

We know you are very busy, and understand that you may not be able to address everything we ask you for. We’re grownups and want this to be pleasurable for you!

That said, we ask our Advisors to:
-Take a phone call with us at your convenience.
-Participate in at least one program in the course of the year- on the Planning Committee, as a Speaker, or as an Attendee. We hold many online programs, and we love to see you in person.
-We will hold occasional Advisory Board meetings, which will be recorded (see below).
-Plan to commit for a two-year term, renewable with mutual agreement.

The Role of the Scientific Advisory Board:
-Act as an Ambassador, introducing us to colleagues who can benefit from participation.
-Share our Calls for Abstracts, Event Invitations, and news you feel appropriate.
-Field thoughts about programs and activities that interest you. We’re always planning ahead, and listen to our champions as we build partnerships for growth.
-Share feedback with us, including areas you feel might be improved at any point.
-As we work to build sustainability, consider ways we can partner with you and your organization.

Ways to Collaborate:
You will receive ongoing communications, all of which can be shared unless explicitly noted.
-Contact us if you want to be involved in something that is moving forward.
-Reach out with your ideas about programs, activities, partnerships, and social gatherings.
-What is a concept you would like to be part of, but don’t have time or resources to organize? if we can help make it happen, we will!
-Share with us your big goals- what can we build together?

Code of Conduct:
We value each participant in our programs and activities, and strive to create a valuable, grown-up environment. All we ask is to
-Respect us in public- if you have any issues, contact us directly so we can iron them out together.
-Include us in relationships you establish through us. This can be by copying us on occasion, sending a brief update, etc.

Next Steps, Planning 2019-2020, Westchester Biotech Blueprint 2030:

You are a driving force for in this community, and we thank you for your active involvement.

Together we can be formidable!

Since 2017, we have held 35 Roundtables, Symposia, and Webinars. Your participation has helped us develop and connect a regional, national, and international community of researchers, engineers, data scientists, and those who support them.

Already, this moveable feast has proved an excellent platform for fresh collaborations. Those in the works include: The Westchester Certificate, Westchester Biotech Project Europe, and the Consortium on Translational Research in the Microbiome.

Take a look over the whole website for background on these and other programs.
